Supporting VEG: Visible Elder’s Group in Croydon.
Asian Resource Centre of Croydon Limited are celebrating receiving a grant of £38,900 from People’s Health Trust, using money raised by The Health Lottery London West.
The two-year project is the development and extension of a project, which will continue to run dance, yoga and Tai Chi sessions. There will also be coffee mornings held for Asian elders local to North Croydon. The project, which is led by a steering group made up of participants, aims to bring residents from different Asian backgrounds together.
Chris Lunn, the spokesperson for The Health Lottery in London West, said: “We are delighted that money raised through The Health Lottery London West is supporting important local projects. Already, over £7.4 million has been raised for Health Lottery London West, which helps to make a huge difference for these local good causes groups.
Health Lottery London West is benefitting from Health Lottery tickets sold for all draws held between 1 June and 30 June 2019.
